Bold City Longsword's core curriculum is from the German school of sword fighting including the original German sword master Johannes Liechtenauer, and others following in his tradition; primarily the 16th century german fencing master Joachim Meÿer.

We drill sequences of techniques individually, with a partner, and express what we learn during various intensities of free play (sparring). We also take part in many of the HEMA tournaments that are being held in the southern United States and along the east coast.
